Hedgehog Heroes

Our Hedgehog Heroes are an excited and motivated group determined to lead Lasswade Primary School in achieving a Hedgehog Friendly Campus award. They are planning lots of exciting learning for our P4 and P5 classes all about hedgehogs and are planning to increase whole school awareness of hedgehogs. We love our spiky friends here at Lasswade Primary School!

I am a Hedgehog Hero because I love hedgehogs and I want them to get treated well and not become extinct.

I am a Hedgehog Hero because hedgehog numbers are going down and we really need to help them!

Ellie P4

I am a Hedgehog Hero because I want to help make hedgehogs a thriving creature and they are so cute.

Seb P4

I am a Hedgehog Hero because we need to keep them safe and they are the only spiky mammal in the UK. I love them but they can easily get hurt!

Krishna P4

I am a Hedgehog Hero because if we don't care about them they could become extinct. I feel it is my social and moral responsibility to look after them.

I am a Hedgehog Hero because I want hedgehogs to have a better life and I want to help them.

Our first meeting.

We held our first meeting on the 15th January and we enjoyed meeting and getting to know each other. We made plans for how we wanted our hedgehog learning to go.
