Clubs at LPS

School Football

For a certain period of time after school on Fridays, P6s and P7s who want to join the school football go up to the field to play. The children can change from their school uniform into whatever they want. It's from 12:30 till 13:30. On the last day of training we play mini matches. There is space for 40 kids. There are development and league teams. The development team changes and the league team doesn't change. The league team plays in the league and tries to win the league. It's very fun and the coaches choose different but fun activities.

Blue Bot Club

Last year, the Digital Ninjas held a club for Primary 2 - 4 children. There were lots of different activities. Then on the last week we held a celebration week for the younger kids, so they could show their parents what they were doing.

We also worked with and visited the National Robotarium so we could meet and learn about some really advanced robots and robot scientists!

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is run by Mrs Edmond, Mrs Todd and Mrs Thomson. It’s held after school on Tuesday and it's so much fun. We do a Christmas show for the Bonnyrigg light switch on. They provide us with so much help and positivity. We think every school should have a musical theatre club. As well Christmas songs, we sing songs from movies and musicals.
